I bought a small condo conversion last year in a very desirable neighborhood. I intend to live in it for a while, but I would also like to spruce it up while I am here and possibly add some value. I know in houses it’s a good idea to invest in the kitchen and bathroom, but does that hold true for small condos? What are the best types of renovations to make? The condo is pretty basic right now - carpeting, simple fixtures, very basic kitchen with an old laminate countertop. I would prefer to renovate wisely.

My hubby and I need a new bathroom. The estimate to have someone do it is incredible. We were hoping to tackle some of it ourselves. Is this possible for a newbie? I know I will have to have someone do a little electrical(new can lights) and move a toilet and install tub. But the demo, new framing, new sheetrock etc. Any help would be appreciated

I live right outside of Philly and want to do some renovations…and eventually sell my place. Should I add a 3/4 bathroom or redo the 70’s style kitchen? Which will improve my resale value?

I am thinking about doing my own bathroom renovation, can anyone suggest some sites where I can go for inspiration? Sometimes I’m not the most creative when it comes to design.

We have a 4 BD 2 BT ranch house.
I am interested in the average cost per sq ft of a mid level renovation to add a 20 x 20 family room, 10 by 12 foyer and a small bathroom w standard tub/shower. Location Fairfield County, CT.

My girlfriend and I are looking to purchase a home and we found a nice house in a great location; however, the bathroom is TINY and it is something I would want to renovate and expand prior to moving in. How would should a expect to spend to make simple, yet stylish renovations to the bathroom?
I know this is a very vague question being that there are a ton of factors. I am just looking to get an idea of how much of an investment it would require on top of the down payment.
Thanks!

Anyone know of any websites that have a good sample of bathroom and/or kitchens?

If you have ever used this as part of a bathroom renovation, please let me know how it worked out. I heard this is a cheaper alternative than getting a glass enclosure.
